The Confederate Calendar was the standard measurment of time used by the Confederacy of Iliard. It centered around Despayer's solar cycle. Declaration of the Confedarcy was used as its epoch to determine calendar eras. BD stands for Before Declaration and AD (rarely used) stands for After Declaration.

The calendar was implemented after the Chadian Republic, Iliard Republic and Shle'khan Dominion had merged into the Confederacy of Iliard. It was acknowleged by the corresponding heads of state and public referendum as the official measurment of time from that point on.

Time measurment

The calendar was based on the size and rotation of Despayer. The standard unit of time was the standard second. Sixty standard seconds made up each standard minute, and sixty minutes made up each standard hour. Each day consisted of 24 standard hours. A standard week was 5 standard days, and each month was six weeks (making 30 standard days each regular month). Each last day of a week and a month was a free one. The second month consisted from only 29 days. The year consisted of 359 standard days (12 months).

The week

  • The week flows as follows:
    • Monday
    • Tuesday
    • Wednesday
    • Thursday
    • Friday (which was actually 'free')
